GetValidify is a Chrome extension that helps users evaluate ecommerce products by analyzing product information and generating AI-assisted product validation reports.
This Privacy Policy explains what information GetValidify accesses, collects, processes, stores, and shares, why that information is processed, how long it may be retained, and how users can request access to or deletion of their information.
GetValidify is designed to process information needed to provide its product analysis, authentication, account management, subscription, and related features.
When you register or sign in, GetValidify may process:
Authentication tokens and session information may be stored locally in the extension using Chrome storage. Users should sign out on shared devices and avoid exposing their browser profile to other people.
When you initiate product analysis or another webpage analysis feature, GetValidify may access relevant information from the active webpage, including:
The exact information accessed depends on the page, the feature you use, and the information made available by the website.
GetValidify uses active-page information to provide user-requested analysis. It does not require access to your general browsing history to perform its core product-validation function. However, users should review the extension's permissions and the behavior of any additional webpage-analysis features.
When you use a store-analysis feature, GetValidify may request publicly accessible product catalog information from the relevant store, such as product titles, prices, and product URLs.
The amount of information available depends on the store's public endpoints and access restrictions. Information retrieved for catalog analysis may include multiple products from the same store.
GetValidify processes information needed to manage its services, including:
Payment details may be processed by the relevant payment provider. GetValidify's backend may receive subscription status, transaction references, and other information required to manage account entitlements.
Requests to GetValidify's backend may generate technical information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. Hosting infrastructure or service providers may also process connection metadata, such as IP addresses, timestamps, and request information, according to their configurations.
The exact retention of infrastructure-level logs depends on the hosting and service configuration.
The extension uses Chrome's local storage to maintain information such as device identifiers, session state, and authentication tokens.
GetValidify can generate PDF reports locally in the browser and save them to the user's downloads. A downloaded report remains on the user's device unless the user independently uploads or shares it.
Uninstalling the extension or signing out should not be treated as a request to delete data already stored on GetValidify's servers.
GetValidify uses the information described above to:
GetValidify does not sell personal information or browsing activity to data brokers or advertising networks.
GetValidify shares information with service providers only as needed to operate the features described in this policy, subject to the providers' applicable terms and privacy practices.
The extension sends authentication requests and product-analysis data to the GetValidify backend over HTTPS.
The backend is hosted using Microsoft Azure App Service in the France Central region, according to the current deployment configuration. The backend may process account information, product metadata, analysis requests, usage information, and generated analysis results.
When you choose Google Sign-In, GetValidify uses Chrome's identity functionality and relevant Google authentication services to authenticate you.
GetValidify does not use Google API data for personalized or targeted advertising and does not sell Google API data to third parties.
GetValidify sends relevant product information to its configured AI analysis provider or providers to generate product assessments and related report content.
GetValidify uses an email delivery service, currently identified in the application configuration as Resend SMTP, to send transactional messages such as account verification, password recovery, and relevant payment notifications.
GetValidify integrates with payment or subscription services, including PayPal and Lemon Squeezy where enabled.
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal requests, investigate abuse, or protect the rights, safety, and security of GetValidify and its users.
GetValidify's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Account information, authentication-related records, subscription status, and license-related records may be stored on GetValidify's backend for as long as they are needed to operate the account and manage subscriptions.
The current application implementation includes an analysis cache with a configured 30-day time-to-live (TTL).
Technical logs, infrastructure records, backups, payment records, and data held by external providers may follow separate retention schedules.
You may request deletion of your GetValidify account and associated personal information by contacting: support@getvalidify.com.
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction, including HTTPS encryption and restricted access controls.
You can choose authentication methods, avoid initiating analyses, sign out, uninstall the extension, or submit data deletion requests via email.
GetValidify is intended for adult ecommerce entrepreneurs and professionals. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 18.
GetValidify and its service providers process information in regions where their infrastructure is located, including Microsoft Azure (France Central).
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in GetValidify's functionality. The latest version will always be published at: https://getvalidify.com/privacy.html.
